Car park, warehouse, building site, industrial site: what IA-N changes.

At a car park, warehouse, building site or industrial site already fitted with IP cameras, IA-N detects people and vehicles on site within the desired zones and schedules, then alerts the right people with a photo, a monitoring centre or a VMS. Depending on the site, modules can be added: licence plate recognition at an entrance, the Alert centre for a security desk, off-network streams for a distant camera.

Car park Warehouse Building site Industry

Car park

Car park: monitor the entrances, find vehicle passages.

The need: Monitor the entrances and aisles, especially at night, and know which vehicles have come in.

What IA-N does

  • Detection of people and vehicles in the chosen zones, at the desired times.
  • Licence plate recognition at the entrance (ANPR module): history of passages with photos, allow and deny lists, CSV export.
  • Plate on the deny list: real-time alert in the Alert centre (module).
  • Alerts sent to a monitoring centre, with a video verification link (with the box).

To check

  • Plate recognition camera facing the traffic or slightly angled, main stream in 1080p recommended, infrared lighting at night.
  • Privacy masks over the public road if the image shows it.
  • People informed by a sign, under the operator's responsibility.

Warehouse and logistics

Warehouse: protect the perimeter outside working hours.

The need: Protect a perimeter and loading docks outside working hours, and keep a record of the vehicles that enter.

What IA-N does

  • Alerts only outside working hours, thanks to time windows set camera by camera.
  • Annotated photo of each alert, sent to the right people.
  • Licence plate recognition at the site entrance (module): find a passage by plate number, camera or date.
  • Alert centre (module) for the security guard or the team monitoring the site.

To check

  • Zones drawn over the entrances and the perimeter, away from daytime work areas.
  • Retention period suited to the actual need.

Building site

Building site: be alerted to a presence outside working hours.

The need: Be alerted to a presence outside working hours, on a site that keeps changing.

What IA-N does

  • Detection of people and vehicles at night and at weekends, with a photo.
  • Notification of vehicle passages outside opening hours, with licence plate recognition (module).
  • Distant camera connected over the Internet: attached to an existing box for the duration of the works, with the off-network streams module.

To check

  • Stable Internet link and sufficient upload bandwidth for a remote camera.
  • Remote camera never open to the whole Internet: port forwarding restricted to the box's public address.
  • Zones and schedules to be reviewed as the works progress.

Industrial site

Industrial site: a large perimeter, at night.

The need: Monitor a large perimeter at night, with a security desk or a monitoring centre.

What IA-N does

  • Alerts active only at night on the perimeter cameras, thanks to time windows.
  • Alert centre (module): named, logged acknowledgement, useful for checking response times.
  • SIA DC-09 and Contact ID alarm monitoring with video alarm verification (with the box).
  • Alarms to the site's VMS: ONVIF® events and API, alarms tested with Nx Witness, other software case by case.
  • On the IA-N box: camera ports isolated from the Internet and from the company network.

To check

  • Number of cameras: up to about thirty per box based on our internal measurements; beyond that, the project is sized with our team.
  • Sufficient lighting or infrared on the perimeter.

Frequently asked questions

Use cases

Another question? Our sales team will answer.

Can alerts be received only outside opening hours?

Yes. Detection zones and schedules are set for each camera: for example, at night and at weekends only.

Do animals trigger alerts?

IA-N recognises animals as a separate category. Notifications are set per camera, per category and per schedule: you choose what should trigger an alert.

Can a single box cover several buildings?

Yes, if the cameras are on the same local network as the box. For a camera located elsewhere and reachable over the Internet, the off-network streams module lets you attach it to the box.

Is a monitoring centre required?

No. Alerts can arrive on a phone with a photo, in the Alert centre or in a VMS. Transmission to a monitoring centre is included with the box.

A site to equip?

Describe the site, the cameras and the hours to be monitored: we will tell you which settings and modules are useful.
