Security
Report a vulnerability
In brief To report a security vulnerability in IA-N, the partner portal or this website, email security@electronisafe.fr, in French or English. ElectroniSafe acknowledges receipt, examines the report and fixes confirmed vulnerabilities within reasonable timeframes, according to their severity.
This page is a translation of the French version, which prevails.
Do you think you have found a security flaw in the IA-N box, its software, the partner portal or this website? Please report it to us: your report helps protect our customers and their installers.
1. How to report it
- Email security@electronisafe.fr, in French or English.
- If possible, describe: the product or service concerned and its version (shown in the box interface), the problem and its possible impact, and the steps to reproduce it.
- Do not send third parties' personal data (video surveillance images, licence plates, credentials): a description is enough. If further material is needed, we will agree with you on a suitable way to exchange it.
2. What we ask of you
- Limit your testing to what is needed to demonstrate the problem.
- Do not access other people's data, and do not copy, modify or delete it. If you access it by mistake, stop and let us know.
- Do not disrupt the service: no denial of service, no mass sending, no social engineering, no physical intrusion.
- Do not test a box installed at a customer's site, or any system that does not belong to you, without its owner's written consent.
- Give us reasonable time to fix the issue before any publication, and agree the publication date with us.
3. What we commit to
- Acknowledge receipt of your report.
- Examine it seriously and keep you informed of the action we take.
- Fix confirmed vulnerabilities within reasonable timeframes, according to their severity. Fixes for the box are distributed through our signed software updates.
- Not take legal action against anyone who researches and reports a vulnerability to us in good faith, in line with this page. This commitment applies only to ElectroniSafe: it does not replace the consent of our customers or other third parties.
- Use your contact details only to handle your report (see our privacy policy).
4. No bounty
We do not pay rewards for reports: ElectroniSafe has no bug bounty programme.
5. Outside the scope of this page
- Vulnerabilities in cameras, recorders, routers or software from other manufacturers: please report them to the manufacturer.
- Installation or configuration questions: please contact your installer partner.
6. Standard format
This information is also published in the standard security.txt format (RFC 9116): /.well-known/security.txt.
