Guide · video management software (VMS)
IA-N can send its alarms to video management software (VMS) already in place, through ONVIF® events and API: the VMS remains the operator's workstation, and IA-N analyses the cameras and reports to it what it detects. Alarms are tested with Nx Witness; for other software, compatibility is validated case by case with our team. VMS integration is an optional module.

The principle
They remain registered in the VMS, which keeps displaying and recording them.
It analyses the same cameras on site and detects people, vehicles and animals within the configured zones and schedules.
Each retained detection is sent to the VMS as an event, via ONVIF or via API.
They follow the alarms in their usual software.
Compatibility
| Software | Status |
|---|---|
| Nx Witness | Alarms tested |
| Other VMS | Compatibility to be validated case by case, depending on the software's ONVIF events or API |
Using another VMS? Tell us its name and version: we will tell you what is possible before any commitment.
The IA-N Analyse plugin runs the analysis directly inside the Nx server, with no extra box: detection, alarm rules, French license plate reading and alarm transmission to a monitoring centre. See also the guide Nx Witness alarms to a monitoring centre.
